TEC recently signed a purchase contract of traction system with CNR Changchun Railway Vehicles Co., Ltd. for Beijing Yanfang Line, which is about to be the first line in China that uses driverless metro. The driverless metro supports automatic awakening and sleeping, and also performs automatic parking and starting, washing, running, braking and door switching. It is even capable of automatic recovering after breakdown. It can also enter or quit operation mode in accordance with passenger flow.
