Recently, the permanent magnet traction system of Changsha rail transit line 1, developed by CRRC Times Electric, successfully passed the review before carrying passengers, meaning that our permanent magnet technology will be applied on subway successfully, opening a new model of urban rail transit in China. It is the first independent permanent magnet traction system with passenger carrying qualification in China. It will be loaded in Changsha Metro line 1 to realize trial operation with passengers on board soon. What’s more, CRRC Times Electric will help China to step into the "permanent magnet era".

As the first subway equipped with independent permanent magnet traction system in China,   the most core permanent magnet traction system of Changsha Metro line 1 is developed by CRRC Times Electric. In Changsha Metro line 1, all the 16 motors of the subway adopt permanent magnet motors. It’s the first time to realize loading the permanent magnet traction system in a whole subway in China.
