On May 21, the tender result of signal system for Changsha Metro Line 2 was released: CSR Zhuzhou Electric Locomotive Co., Ltd. (TEC) won the bid successfully, remarking that TEC realized system integration of traction and signal in a single line for the first time.. It is a new breakthrough for the company. Before that, TEC won the bid of propulsion system on Changsha metro line 2 that for 16 trains with 96 cars on 18th November 2010.

Signal system is one of the key technologies and product to ensure the safe operation for metro vehicles. Since year 2009, TEC has cooperated with British Invensys Group to research, develop, produce, and market signal system. After 3 years hardworking, the market breakthrough has been made through Changsha Metro Line 2. 

Up to now, the product line of mass transit of TEC has been expanded from original single traction drive system to  comprehensive solutions including signal system, power supply system, platform screen door system, braking system, energy feedback system by complete product line. TEC became   the system integration provider  with the strongest technologies and the most complete product spectrums in the domestic mass transit market.

Good news again, TEC wins the bidding of propulsion system on Hangzhou metro line 2 projects. The contract amounts up to 240 millions.
